    Good location, reasonable price, kind personnel

    The room smelled a bit strange (although it was clean). A sink and a telephone in the room would be useful.

    The location of the hotel was very convenient for accessing quite a few of Sydney's major trourist attractions

    The room was very spartan and lacking even the basic room facilities such as a phone or even an alarm clock. Very poor value for the price, as one could get a great room with all amenities (phone, tv, fridge, own bathroom) for just $14- $24 more per night at the Travelodge, few doors down.

    Hotel was handy to Hyde Park and adjacent to other shops and services. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although it would have been helpful to have known about the luggage storage facility. So easy and quick to hail a cab to the airport too!

    It was close to the city and Surry Hills so it's in a prime location. The price was very reasonable and the room itself had everything we needed for our stay.

    Breakfast the proximity. We had stayed at the Hotel Y before and had liked it thats why we stayed there.

    We liked the comfort, cleanliness, staff courtesy and central location of the hotel available at a very modest price.

    We didn't know which power point to use to switch on the kettle. We ended up using the power point behind the chest of drawers which was hard to get at. Also, it would be good if you could provide earlier breakfast. We had to leave at 6:30am to catch the 7:15am XPT for Brisbane and so had to miss out on breakfast.

    The position of the hotel right in the city centre is great advantage for shopping and tourism. The cleanliness of the room was better than some more expensive hotels I have been in. The breakfasts were amazing and have influenced my decision to stay at the hotel again.

    The room was quiet but in a great location within walking distance to The Sydney Entertainment Centre, train stations, Paddy's market, China town and Darling Harbour. The breakfast was really good and we were easily able to find a diverse range of places to eat. Price was great and the free upgrade made our stay even better. I'll stay there again.
